Holiday Inn bookings crippled from ransomware attack
A suspected ransomware attack on Holiday Inn has crippled the hotel giant’s ability to book reservations online, resulting in sharp occupancy drops that have sparked legal threats from franchisees, The Post has learned.

InterContinental Hotels Group, which owns Holiday Inn as well as 15 other brands including Crowne Plaza, said hackers breached its systems on Monday, forcing it to shut down its online reservation booking portal.

That sucks. Not that I care since most Hotels and Motels are curry outfits these days that discriminate against Americans.

Patels.

I find one part ite9nic and hilarious. Indians come stay at this Indian owned hotel, and they trash it every time! Leave the rooms filthy, and open almost all of the single serve items at the cont. breakfast to see if what's inside is something they might want to eat. Cereal for example. The label says what it is but they open it to see for themselves. If it's not what they want, they leave it and open another. They push tables together. Leave trash all over. Indians suck.

Why would anyone want to sleep in a hotel? Once a year, if you're lucky, they change the bed spread, and if you're lucky, you might get clean sheets. Don't touch the glasses, whether they're in plastic or not; they most likely were cleaned with a dirty towel. Just letting you know about all the dirt and filth that is in hotel rooms.

1.) Bedspread = check, maybe even less freuqently.

2. Sheets = BS. Regularly laundered in any major chain.

3. Glasses = disposable plastic and plastic wrapped in most chains.

But there was a good show on what to look for, especially bed bugs:

Also - bring Clorox wipes and clean the remote and all handles and faucets.

Yeah because the humans in motels carry different germs than all the other humans touching handles everywhere else.

Do you clorox all the handles in businesses and at work too? Prob should wear 2 masks.

2) Not BS. Room cleaners may not change the sheets if it doesn't look like anyone slept in the bed.
3) real glasses washed in a dirty sink in the room, and wiped with a dirty ( or perceived clean ) towel.
But hey, believe what you want.

It's all relative; if you live in a flophouse, then a dirty motel/hotel room is a step up.
Case in point.
