And the men in America, unless they are Scottish and walking in a parade, did not wear kilts, ever.

And the Scottish men don't wear frilly women's wear either.
They wear what they, the MEN, have traditionally worn throughout their history.

In the UK, there is always the question, what does a Scotsman wear under his kilt… answer… nothing:-). That is why women find men wearing kilts so attractive…. :-)

That is why the series Outlander, adapted from the books of Diane Gambledon, have been so successful, especially in the States, and has had an incredible effect on tourism to Scotland.

If you have never watched the Outlander series, which I think was produced by Stars, it is an incredible series, which combines, history, action, violence, and sex, first off in Scotland, but which eventually moves towards the war of American Independence… well worth a watch,, if you had never seen this series…
