There’s a very simple solution to bullying and that is having older friends. About the time boys want to prove themselves 13, I was in seventh grade new school and I started getting hassled, skinny little above average height kid. But I played sports and one of my friends Was a year older than me very tall long arms love to fight, loved it. As soon as I mentioned anyone was bothering me he told them I was his friend you take on him you take on me. End of story. I even got apologies. I had another friend who is my age who I played football with him, his name was Limuel. Lemuel had biceps at 13 like a grown man he also caught win that someone had just said they were going to kick my ass and he set them straight and told them that I was his friend if you fight him you’re gonna fight me . And this was a guy two years older than me, a big big guy. Also end of story.

Plus I always try to be friends with the older kids in my neighborhood tagging along doing stupid stuff so they would let me hang out with them. But there’s tons of kids in high schools in grade schools who are year or two older who are very strong, very skilled At defending themselves who would love to help a kid who is being bullied. I’ve always believed this is the direction schools should take find some older kids to protect any kid that’s being bullied, believe me there’s kids out there who would relish kicking some punks ass and not getting in trouble for it. As a father you can’t kick a bullies ass but another kid near his age ? Damn right he can.

This was tragic and preventable. Schools always look for PC solutions. Having older stronger kids look out for the weak is the solution.
