Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82139143 No. All they are doing is taking them deeper into the country. It's not cute. Chicago is sending them to the suburbs. Abott should send those busses into Mexico instead. |

They're not "immigrants" sleeping on the street, part of the immigration process is proving you have the means to support yourself. There are also apparently insignificant things like health screening and criminal background check. As an immigrant myself I know how it works, these illegal aliens sleeping on the street are bad for everyone. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 foreigners here illegally, 2 from the US, truly vile nasty people. One is running from some type of warrant in the US and is a pedo, another has similar issues and the 3rd is just a pretty criminal. They get in on a tourist permit and never leave, for the first guy I'm sure it beats prison in the US. But it's a rough life, he's got several people looking for him here now too and wouldn't survive the encounter so he's moving every week or two to a different rented room, early 40's and looks like early 70's. I on the other hand went through the process legally, I have my Colombian ID, and my Colombian driver's license, my wife and I own a beautiful home and a nice SUV and we pay our taxes. That's the difference between illegal alien and immigrant, if they don't respect the country enough or their extensive criminal background prevents them from doing legally you don't want them. If I had a dollar for every time I got suspicious... I'd wonder who was paying me, and why? |

So send them to the liberal chitbag cities who vote for "the dreamers" and "sanctuary cities" Its easy when you have 12 illigals. Why should Texas have to keep them all? |

NYC Mayor Eric Adams claims the Big Apple is 'near breaking point' after Texas bused 11,000 migrants to 'sanctuary city' - while El Paso has thousands of immigrants sleeping on the streets Quoting: Coastie Patriot New York City Mayor Eric Adams said the city was approaching it's breaking point amid an influx of 11,000 migrants being bussed over from Texas in protest of the country's border policy On Monday, the city reportedly failed to properly shelter a group of 60 migrants that arrived from Texas Adams angered housing advocates after saying the city needed to reassess its right-to-shelter policy, which guarantees people the right to stay at a shelter for a given day Among the group of arrivals in New York this month included some migrants from El Paso, which has been so inundated with migrants that shelters had to reject 1,000 of them, forcing them to sleep in the streets 'It's almost apocalyptic,' says US Rep. Tony Gonzales, with El Paso also likened to a third world country [link to www.dailymail.co.uk (secure)] sounds like a sanctuary city isnt providing sanctuary!!! Good |
