reading more of the article finds, not as tragic as you think, typical story of a mental case aspi double vaxxed & boosted young man who admits to the 911 dispatcher that he has weapons. he fails to listen to instructions because he is on drugs, cops try to disarm him and end up capping his ass. the cops were the last person that kid should have called. he should have called his fucking parents or a towing company rather then the fucking shoot on sight police.
tragic yes
but that is what the cops will do if you admit you have a knife, are on drugs and fail to listen to them when you have a weapon on you. they will kill you.

The choices were to just leave him as they found him. Then what? They could push him out as HE wanted but then they would be sending an obviously drug or psychotic person down the road at an unsuspecting public so what were they supposed to do?
