Ammo Stolen off of Rail Shipping Containers in NC

OK, anyone else out there across the nation having these kind of issues of theft of ammo? Already heard that a lot of customers are not getting their mail orders when it comes to ammo, etc.

And since it's rail containers, my Spidey senses are clanging.

Oh, now my Spidey senses are starting to feel more like pain-in-the-ass sciatica now that I'm also seeing news of Trump coming to stump for Ted Budd in Wilmington, NC on, wait for it....Sept. 23rd.

Have to imagine there are at least 10,000 out of those 5 mill knowledgeable or would know how to break into a train. Reminds me of the train thefts in CA earlier this year.

Gotta admit I love the idea this ammo was for the IRS but didn't make. Aw.......probably not the case but whatever. Stolen from multiple locations? Someone on the inside who knew where and when shipments were going out is responsible. I suggest the shipping department of Winchester ammo is the first place to look.

DZ, dose it feel weird to you that they are only talking about pistol ammo, I would think that they would be setting up a FF with .223 or 5.56mm to take AR-15's off the streets.

Lots of low flying military helicopters lately in this area. Unusual. It was stated that it’s because George bush visited a few days ago but the copters are still going as of last night.

Oh lawdy!!! Seems like I recall comin' across a snippet of uncle intel about how ammo slated to be delivered to alphabet soup orgs was spirited away (minds eye image of that very funky PR video recently released of morphing ghost - psyops).

Indeed, I was reading between the lines on the scanty news report. It's what they don't say that concerns me. Most folks are not gonna' target that particular caliber ammo.

Am in central NC so a lot of us take note of military and NG air traffic, road traffic, personnel in uniform in/around the area.

And yeah, there's a major uptick in it all. Have seen more Ospreys in the air east of me heading to the Beltway area.
