Love the humidity in the summer along with the rattle snakes and the wet winters. Got water everywhere and plenty of tasty animals to eat on rattle snakes included. Quoting: The Electrician I'm in St Clair county Alabama..nearby ...I've seen more rattlesnakes this year than the other five years I've been down here combined. St. Clair County, Michigan here. Have called Michigan, Georgia, California and Alaska home. One side of the family is from Tennessee and have spent a lot of time there. Visited nearly every state and avoid interstates when traveling. For me, the choice would be difficult to pick one but top two are probably Sitka Alaska and Stanley Idaho. We're king of the beasts but we're hardly civilized. |

Quoting: The Electrician I'm in St Clair county Alabama..nearby ...I've seen more rattlesnakes this year than the other five years I've been down here combined. I grew up in Montgomery (68, born in 1954) and I think Alabama is a great place to live if you can find the right place. My brother has lived in Rome for 25 years. A childhood friend has a farm in the Menton area, east of the Ga state line. Several friends that I grew up with live in Kennesaw and Jasper. I spent most of my adult life in Atlanta (Dunwoody), 13 years in SoCal, 5 in NOLA, year in Houston. I am in central NC now but I don't think this is where I will call home for long. Been there several times from the 90's to just before C19. The Rockies on the ocean best describes the area. It's a quiet forested island with a small airport. Quoting: Google_It Would very much like it to have a natural hot springs, a natural fresh water spring and a small river / creek running through it. Sounds like to to much to ask for? Not from BC :-) There are places like that in the Kootneys, and even around Terrace BC, which is beautiful. Hot springs display magma closer to the surface and with the pole shift going on, wouldn't like that. Kate's location is more ideal, but there are issues with east side of the rockies as well, but for overall safety, if you can avoid cold, tornado's, and get a property close to the rockies, in the foothills, it is probably the most ideal spot in Canada.
