Azteck patters open eyed with tribal beats in my ears. Hiked alone at 3 oclock in the morning up to a peak of a mountian. I thought I was either going to die or be abducted by aliens. Intense. Quoting: Shroomer 3962092.Mazateks Also very intense. Expiernced time travel on these while tripping alone in the dark while listening to tribal drumming. 3. PES Hawians. Grow into big boomers, crazy morphing of sight and sound. Anyone else? Sorry I only know them by their botanical names - and Panolous is 5 times stronger, but rare |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 319882 United States 03/20/2008 02:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | First of all, there are only 3 strains of psilocybin mushroom, but there are hundreds of names for psilocybin mushrooms. PES Hawaiian, Pink Buffalo, Golden Teachers - all just names for one species. PES Hawaian, for example were named by Pacific Exotic Spora (PES), a now closed spore supply center. They mix matched various psilocybin mushrooms to develop their Hawaiian 'strain', but it's still a psilocybin mushroom. Psilocybin mushrooms are not native to Hawaii, they do not grow there naturally. Most other names come from where the original was found before it was printed (spore printed). Pink buffalo are from Thailand, names for being found in a field where rare Pink Buffalo roam, but it's still a psilocybin mushroom. There is one main Psilocybin mushroom found world wide, spread by spore on the winds. Wind can easily carry spores over the oceans and around the world. It does appear that in Thailand, a new isolated species of psilocybin mushroom has evolved, as well as a second in India; they are known to be more potent than the common psilocybin mushroom. Two clearly different mushroom species would be Psilocybe verse Panaeolus. But with that said, these ISOLATED STRAINS are different and fun. The ISOLATED PES Hawaiian's do grow fat and give a very spiritual trip. I've worked most with Pink Buffalo and those rock with clear sensory crossover effects (e.i. smelling color, hearing tastes, etc.). If one starts with a single Pink Buffalo spore print, one could grow 100 different ISOLATED STRAINS, each one would be different. People do this by growing on AGAR. You can test each ISOLATED STRAIN by growing it (it will grow in a unique way) and eat it (it will have a unique trip). Pink Buffalo is clearly my favorite. So, there is really only one Psilocybe mushroom with maybe 2 others from Thailand and India, maybe. But there are hundreds of ISOLATED STRAINS of Psilocybe mushroom. Growing any single 'strain' like PES Hawaiian yourself, using multi-spore techniques, and you will grow different shaped ones, different strength ones, and different trip ones. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 576680Is mescaline the same as psilcybin? Because I once did a small little pill of it, and the last thing I remember is seeing these amazing swirls of color. They tell me I laughed and laughed and laughed for hours on the stuff but I don't recall a moment of it. LOL |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 477853 United States 01/12/2009 12:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would eat mushrooms more often if I could find them, they're quite rare if you don't know the right people. I certainly do not, lately I've been seeing the darker sides of my "friends" lately, and only a few are showing true. But to get to my question, is it true that mushroom spores can survive in an environment without air? As in, can mushroom spores travel through space, and yes, traveling along or on interstellar bodies counts imo. |

The need for artificial "seeing" helps muck of this world, because many mushroom and drug users, are after the special affects and not dealing with this world as it is. Spiritual growth doesn't come from drug use, it comes from true seeking. Why do people mess up their lives even further than they are already messed up by escape stuff, be it drugs, mushrooms, TV or whatever, is beyond me. These methods usually create more problems for the user, not solve anything. |

As perception increases so does the world that is perceived and one will pinch oneself to see that they are not dreaming. If in tune with oneness, GAIA and ones heart center one will enjoy the ride. Before this year I would have answered cyans from the PNW. Reality IS a trip. Some of you have NO IDEA the strangeness afoot. I love you! |

As soon as we touched the ground I had an explosion of colours and trippy feeling. Since then one question has never left me: What would it be like on a spaceship? Are mushrooms a way to adapt to living in space? |
