The acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denys Pushylin, left for the recently liberated city of Artemivsk (Ukr. named Bakhmut) from the Armed Forces.

According to Pushylin, the purpose of his visit was to assess the upcoming reconstruction work in the battle-ravaged city. Also, the acting head of the DNR voiced his position on the name of the city, which will once again become Artemivsk. By decree of Denis Pushilin, the city was returned to the name it used before 2014. The head of the DNR said that the issue of the name of the city had been resolved.
