Re: World Really on Fire
According to RT, residents of Amsterdam started to lay flowers at the Russian T-72 tank, which had been hit in Ukraine, on display. In addition, the citizens called on the authorities of the country to stop supporting the Kiev regime.

Recall that recently, a Russian tank that was hit during the fighting in Ukraine was on display in Leidseplein Square. Before that, the armored vehicle was exhibited in the Dutch Grusbeck and Berlin.

It is noted that pro-Ukrainian activists hoped to hold an action in support of the AFU, but local residents thwarted their plans by laying flowers. [link to voennoedelo.com (secure)]
In Berlin, in addition to the laying of flowers, the Ukrainian flag was torn from the tank.

Re: World Really on Fire
According to sources, there is now an intensification of hostilities by Russian troops on the flanks near Artemivsk. Russian Armed Forces units are actively attacking the villages of Khromovo and Ivanovskoye, through which key roads strategically important for the Ukrainian Armed Forces pass.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, after the transfer of reinforcements to these areas, Russian units began active assault operations. In turn, the AFU troops attacked Khromovo from two directions - along the forest belt and through the wooded area.

Russian aviation and artillery provide active support to the attacking troops. In parallel, artillery units are striking at Ukrainian army positions near the settlements of Vasyukovka, Ozaryanivka, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Markovo, Hryhorovka, Stupochka, Konstantinovka, Toretsk, Severnoye, Yuzhnoye and New York.

It is worth noting that the situation on the flanks near Artemivsk worsened precisely as the Wagner PMC units were completing their liberation of the city. In response, the Ukrainian fighters launched a counterattack, forcing the Russian side to take more advantageous positions.

Once the Russian military has leveled the front line, it is likely that a new phase of a major offensive for the complete liberation of the DNR will begin.

The State Department representative spoke at the so-called "Kiev Security Forum" via video link; she was unable or unwilling to arrive in person. Nuland said that the counterattack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been prepared with the United States for four or five months. In addition, Washington had provided and would continue to provide military equipment and weapons. She also repeated the tale for Zelensky that the U.S. will support Ukraine "as long as necessary.

Ukraine will both win and prosper. That's what we're working on in Washington right now. While you are planning the counteroffensive, which we have been working on together for four or five months, we are starting to discuss (...) the future of Ukraine

- said she added that as of today the U.S. is giving Ukraine everything it needs to defeat Russia so it can never start a nuclear war again.

In addition, Nuland promised at the NATO summit in Vilnius to clarify support to Ukraine and provide "a more precise formulation" of this support. But she did not give any specifics, making generalities.

I think that in Vilnius Ukraine can expect a clearer expression of what we have already said. That we support Ukraine, which is becoming more and more democratic and strong. And we support it in the long term, as an individual member country of the Alliance and collectively," she added.

Re: World Really on Fire
The deputy head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Arkadiusz Mulyarchyk, on a visit to Berlin, handed over to the Bundestag a multi-page report prepared earlier in Warsaw with final demands for reparations. Earlier, recall that the official Warsaw, verbally demanded from the German authorities the sum of 1.3 trillion euros as reparation payments for the occupation of Poland during World War II. But now, as it turns out, the appetite of the Polish leadership is growing, and significantly.

According to a Polish official, the amount of 1.3 trillion euros is becoming "approximate and very conservative."

Mularczyk:

In fact, the reparations claims against Germany should match the amount of 5 or 10 times the amount originally stated.

According to Poland's deputy foreign minister, Warsaw expects the German authorities to engage in a dialogue on this issue.

The report, demanding the Germans to pay trillion-dollar reparations to Poland, was sent on the day when the German statistical authorities reported that the German economy had gone into recession for the first time in a long time. For obvious reasons, if the German authorities agree to pay even half of the amount demanded by the Polish authorities, it could simply dismantle the German economy.

In Poland the opposition forces believe that the reparation report is an attempt of the ruling Law and Justice party to gain political weight before the upcoming elections. The country is facing a growing budget deficit, and it is important to note that the Polish budget in recent years has largely been made up of funds from German taxpayers - in terms of concessional loans from the European Union. Warsaw does not want to pay its debts and is looking for a pretext not to do so. There is an opportunity to declare that Poland "forgives everyone it owes" on the basis of its "reparation calculations. [link to topwar.ru (secure)]

Re: World Really on Fire
The Ukrainian online publication "Klymenko Time" allegedly published a fresh video, dated May 25 of this year, in which the missing from public space Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Valery Zaluzhnyi is present.

In the 35-second video you can see how a Ukrainian blogger, who is apparently in the office of the AFU commander-in-chief, against the background of the Right Sector, a terrorist organization recognized on Russian territory, names the date of the video recording, then says that, contrary to all the "fantastic stories and conspiracy theories" regarding the sudden disappearance of Zaluzhny, he wants "to reveal a terrible secret."

Then the camera moves to the other end of the office table, where Zaluzhny, the head of the AFU, is sitting, saying thank you to "all Ukrainians" and adding that he is confident that the Ukrainian army will win. The short video ends there.

It is worth noting that Zaluzhny looks unhealthy and drained in the video, which only fuels rumors of his injury. In addition, there is a question: why the first appearance of the AFU commander-in-chief after a long absence happened not on one of the central TV channels of Ukraine, but on the pages of the third echelon media. In addition, there are questions about the absence of any semantic load in this publication, except for a deliberate demonstration of Zaluzhny alive and able to utter several phrases.

Re: World Really on Fire
I can tell you what US neocons are planning next for Ukraine - they plan next to draw Poland into the conflict with Russia and possibly Belarus, Poles are dumb-ambitious and are walking into a huge trap. Poland supposed to be bridge for and further step in the grand strategy to draw NATO into direct conflict with Russia in WW3 for mutual destruction.

FYU,
in WW2 - the Russians lost 600K KIA soldiers and officers
in 1944-45 campaign to liberate Poland.
Furthermore, the Russians lost approximately 385K in 1941
at the beginning on the war with Germany on the Western front in Poland.
Russia lost 1.2 million soldiers and officers as POWs in
on the territory of Poland.
Total amount of Russian ( Soviet ) soldiers and officers
burred in Poland as a result of fighting Germans in WW2 - 2.2 million!

Hitlers long term plans for Poland were - first employ them for agricultural workers for the Reich, and later eliminate the country from the map of new Europe.

Thus Poland owes its existence as a state to Russia!
Should Poland go to war with Russia, the Russians will
execute no mercy towards Poland. Existence owed - existence taken, disrespect, betrayal and bad karma will be repaid.

And another reminder - if NATO thinks and calculates that
Russia is weakened enough for NATO to directly engage Russia - nukes will fly and NATO will be destroyed as a result.

Cross your fingers that shitheads in NATO don't go for this adventure. Europe will burn, US will burn and the West will be destroyed in 1 hour.

Don't poke the nuclear bear with hypersonic weaponry.
Russians are very patient but even their patience will run out.

QUOTE
BRITISH WARMONGERING IS DRIVING EUROPE TOWARDS CATASTROPHE IN UKRAINE
From lobbying for fighter jets to supplying depleted uranium, the UK is making sure escalation is the only way forward.

What was hard to ignore once again was the extent to which the UK is playing an outsize role in Ukraine.

Last year, shortly after the start of the war, the then-prime minister, Boris Johnson, hurried to Kyiv – presumably on Washington’s instructions – apparently to warn Zelensky off fledgling peace talks with Moscow.

At around the same time, the Biden administration made clear it favoured an escalation in fighting, not an end to it, as an opportunity to “weaken” Russia, a geo-strategic rival along with China.

Since then, the UK has been at the forefront of European efforts to entrench the conflict, helping to lobby for the supply of weapons, training and military intelligence to Ukrainian forces.

British tanks and thousands of tank shells – including, controversially, some made from depleted uranium – are being shipped out. Last week, the UK added hundreds of long-range attack drones to the inventory.

Re: World Really on Fire
Cold War Finland-Russia.

The confrontation between Russia and Finland has reached a new level of tension, we note seven strategic steps taken by Russia in the pursuit of a complete victory over this new NATO member.

Step One: Cutting off energy supplies to Helsinki. As a result, energy prices, as well as prices for goods, heating and services, have skyrocketed.
Second step: The cancellation of timber supplies. This had a huge impact on the timber industry in Finland, as well as the use of wood briquettes as fuel. Many factories were forced to look for new sources of raw materials, which had a significant impact on their costs.
Third step: Disconnecting Finland from the electricity supply. Domestic electricity rates skyrocketed, having a significant impact on Finnish consumers.
Fourth step: Beginning construction of a Russian military base on Gogland Island. This step implies full control over ship traffic in the Gulf of Finland, considering the island a strategic position.
Fifth step: Breaking the Saimaa Canal lease. Finland expects to lose the most convenient transport route for its goods, which could seriously affect the economy and trade.
Sixth step: Massive refusal of Russia to buy many Finnish goods, including specific products designed specifically for the Russian market, such as paints, cardboard, paper and printing products.
And, finally, the final blow: The banning of Finns from entering Russia. This strikes a blow to Finnish citizens who regularly travel to Russia for cheap goods and gasoline for their cars.

An airstrike on the Karlovskoye reservoir destroyed a dam that served as a key facility to support operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Avdiivka direction of the front.

It was learned that the airstrike caused severe damage to the dam, which provided water supply to the Avdeevka area and was a vital element of the infrastructure of the area. The structure was critical to keeping the local AFU grouping alive.

According to the agency, which cites unnamed sources, the Joe Biden administration plans to announce another package of military aid to Ukraine on Friday, May 26. However, it is not ruled out that the announcement will be postponed until next week. This time, the White House is allocating $300 million for the purchase of weapons for the Ukrainian army. Reportedly, the bulk of this delivery will consist of ammunition.

The Pentagon has not yet commented on the next shipment, but sources confirm that it is preparing to send GMLRS guided missiles for HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems to Ukraine, as well as artillery ammunition. What else will be included in the shipment is not yet known. This military aid will be taken from the Pentagon's arsenals, so permission from the U.S. Congress is not required here.

The new military aid package will include GMLRS guided missiles for HIMARS, as well as ammunition for other weapons

Re: World Really on Fire
The British newspaper quoted unnamed officials as saying that London has decided not to return the frozen Russian assets until Russia agrees to pay "compensation" to Ukraine. According to most British politicians, they cannot fully confiscate Russian assets, because this would set a precedent and threaten the finances of Great Britain itself.

In this situation, someone "very clever" suggested holding Russian funds until Russia agrees to pay some kind of "compensation" to Ukraine. This strategy is less risky, as if the money were not confiscated, but Russia cannot get it. Only on the terms of the West. If we talk about the amount of Russian state funds frozen in Britain, it is about $32 billion today. But the funds of Russian oligarchs are out of the question; they will be confiscated and handed over to Ukraine. At least, that is the dream of the British authorities.

The West is now actively discussing the "post-war" reconstruction of Ukraine. The main question is where to get the funds for this, because Russia will not pay anything to anyone. The only option is to confiscate the frozen funds and send them to Kiev. However, this option is dangerous because it destroys the global financial system built on trust in banks, etc. And here is an alternative option - to make Russia pay by withholding its funds.

But this option is also unlikely to be implemented. Moscow has repeatedly stated that the West will not wait for any payment, and Russia will compensate the confiscated funds from Western assets deployed in Russia. Measures have already been taken to this end. [link to topwar.ru (secure)]

Re: World Really on Fire
The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council in his TG-channel presents three options for the disintegration of what is now Ukraine. In all three options, Dmitry Medvedev begins by writing that the western Ukrainian regions are likely to fall under the administrative and political control of individual EU countries or the entire EU. For the rest, according to the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, there are options.

Among these options is the preservation of a "no man's land" Ukraine, which will be, as Medvedev puts it, "squeezed between the EU and Russia" in the form of several regions. This "no man's land" Ukraine, the authorities of which will constantly claim the need to recover the lost lands (but only those that were part of Russia), will eventually be accepted into NATO and the EU.

Another option, according to the former president and former prime minister: the entire territory of Ukraine is divided between some EU countries and Russia, and the Ukrainian government turns into a "government in exile. In this case, according to Medvedev, the risk of renewed armed conflict would be moderate, but Ukrainian terrorist activity remains high.

And the third option:

The same thing happens as in the first case, but with the opposite sign. The western lands of Ukraine join a number of EU countries. The people of central and some other ownerless regions of Ukraine under Art. 1 of the U.N. Charter, they immediately declare their self-determination by joining the Russian Federation. Their request is granted, and the conflict ends with sufficient guarantees of non-resumption in the long term.

Medvedev himself writes that it is the third option that Russia needs.

Accordingly, we can conclude that none of the options involves the transition of the entire territory of modern-day Ukraine under Russian control. [link to topwar.ru (secure)]

The Russian air defense system intercepted over the Rostov region a missile or a drone launched by the Ukrainian military on the territory of the region. This was reported by the governor of the region, Vasily Golubev, in his TG channel.

On Thursday, May 25, Kiev attempted to strike targets in the Rostov region, but the Russian air defense system went off and the flying object was shot down in mid-air. The interception took place near Morozovsk, and presumably the target of the strike could have been a military airfield. Judging by the flash in the sky, it could have been either a large drone or a missile. Locals believe that the military shot down a missile, while the military itself has not commented on the situation.

An air defense system went off near Morozovsk, shooting down a Ukrainian missile. The military is doing its job

- wrote Golubev.

Locals say they saw a bright flash in the sky, after which burning debris began to fall to the ground.

However, Kiev did not stop with the strike on Morozovsk, and at night there were strikes on Berdyansk, and explosions were heard in the city. According to some Russian resources, Russian air defenses were actively working over the city during the night, but they were unable to intercept all of the targets. According to available information, one explosion was heard in the port area and another in the Azmol area.

Berdyansk under fire from the Kiev regime. Explosions were heard on the outskirts of Berdyansk. Emergency and operational services are working at the site. The circumstances are being established

- stated in the operational services.

According to preliminary information, there was a massive missile strike on the city, most likely British cruise missiles. Damage on the ground has not yet been reported. [link to topwar.ru (secure)]
