haven't found ones as good as the bake in foil brand my Mom bought when i was a child. it probanly was made with real butter. have made my own, but nothing has been as good.

Go to Aldi and get you one of them skinny 2 feet long loafs of bread things. Get some Johnny's garlic spread and use real butter like the instructions say, bake in oven for however long long bread instructions say. Damn good garlic bread that Aldi long bread and Johnny's makes but don't forget the real butter.

If you're poor you can just garlic powder instead. But yes, butter is important.
