Crimea was held by the Ottoman Empire for 340 years after they took it from the Mongels via the Crimean Khanate, a puppet star of the Ottomans.

Russia took it in 1783 after a huge war.

European election observers issued a harsh critique of the Russian presidential election on Monday, saying that Prime Minister Vladimir V.
