I lived in a shitty fourth floor attic and the shitty landlords took out the boiler, usel;ess radiators in the unit no one knows how to work. Just a shit show in Mass, and that was 2011 when I worked in IT. They have no remorse for Obummski, they are hardened UK colony full of traitorous bagels who backprofited from the civil war.

Too damn funny!

I live in Phoenix AZ, and will have to turn my heater on maybe 3 times during the entire winter. I'll be sleeping with my windows open and wearing shorts & sandals during the entire season.

Once summer rolls around, I'm not worried as my home is perfectly shaded and aligned to minimize solar radiation exposure. The thermostat remains steady when set at 82 and it feels quite wonderful when walking in from 115 degree heat.

National Grid has announced a 64% increase in electricity rates effective November 1st. Eversource is anticipated to announce a similar rate increase to National Grid.

Thanks to Joe Biden’s energy policies, which includes the massive export of natural gas in LNG form, domestic prices for natural gas have skyrocketed and will continue increasing as production is further shut down by regulation.

We are helping the EU survive their sanction driven energy crisis by sending them natural gas (LNG format), while simultaneously forcing Americans to pay more in order to maintain the EU export.

Our local utility company in Northwest Indiana, Northern Indiana Public Service Company, raised the gas rates 10% this month, and are seeking an increase of 16.5% on the electric. Anyone who is on a fixed income is in trouble.
FTR, they charge $16.50 a month just to have a meter on your home, even if you use no utilities. In my city, if your utilities are shut off for 30 days or longer, the city has to do an inspection of your property before you get the utilities turned back on. Many homes have been condemned because of this city ordinance. Even if the house has nothing wrong with it, they will say it is "dirty" and demo it. I have seen it happen several times.

today in mass doing construction we shut off our normal jeff cooner, howie carr, right wing radio shows and put on npr. we wanted a different view. they talked about price increase. its a pain we hav to accept, its kennedys fault for stopping wind turbines, margorie bought solar panels, her electric is free????, she did mention they were expensive. and the pain is good cuz the enviroment. why they shut down our nuclear plant?, now power is theirs. then people called in, its all good, save enviroment, etc. nobody complains on npr, i almost threw up. also we just got a grant for 10 million to put in charging stations for evs, because no company will invest, so our govt forces it. fukn horrible. still have a headache from listening to that complete fraud of a show. they had 3 people call in to say its good, wtf?

So its time to work the problem and that is improve thermal insulation of your home, improve windows to a design which reduced heat loss, improve efficiency of electrical devices and heating. Wear better clothes indoors for mid winter, so that you don't have to run the heating at a high temperature. Look at Solar to reduce electricity from the grid.

Also turn stuff off you don't use all the time. For example laptop computer PSU's consume so many watts over a year when not connected to a laptop.
