What's your go to bug out caliber? | |
Dirk_Diggler User ID: 72639256 United States 09/24/2022 07:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 5.56/223 9mm .45acp 20 and 12ga .22lr I recommend everyone here invest in a 3d printer and make your own guns as well as purchase regular firearms. You can make a Glock for $300 and is just as good as a legit Glock. I just recently built a 9mm CZ EVO 3 for about $550. Last Edited by Dirk_Diggler on 09/24/2022 07:27 PM |

In a real bug out situation running for your life you would have a small caliber rifle and a 9mm sidearm hopefully and a pack with bare necessities, water filter, wiggy bag, poncho, fire starter, etc. Try carrying a 12ga.or M1A with 100 rounds around for 8 hours and see how you feel. |

This is the ultimate world wide showdown between good and evil. It is happening everywhere. I aint buggin out because of bill gates, kamala harris or anyone else Quoting: Mr Samuel Colt Accept Christ and youre going in the rapture. Theres no need for prepping for a standoff with the antichrist. I can see you are already roasting on someones spit. |

Quoting: V1k1ng For me it's 12ga - Benelli Black Eagle Camo 22 with a silencer, semi/full auto and 21 shot magazine. 308 What's with the .22? Kinda pointless no? Why not 12ga for close quarters/defence 308 for hunting or long range attacks 9mm for pistol as secondary weapon .22 is great for small game hunting like Ptarmigans, and self defense in close quarters when I have to worry about a stray bullet hitting my kids. When I empty a 21 shot magazine on full auto into center mass with no recoil its a guaranteed kill, and silenced for stealth. Pistols are very hard to optain here but my goal is to get a 9mm CZ I have my eyes on. I seriously doubt you have a 2 stamp gun. select fire guns are STARTING at $20,000+ at most auction houses Suppressors are compleatly useless on a select fire guns, unless your shooting subsonic ammo... But even then the suppressor will overheat after one mag dump. God forbid it's un papered, and you just incriminated yourself... I wouldn't post shit like that on a PUBLIC forum... that's 10 years in a "Rectal Enlargement Facility" if you get caught with an un papered class 3 weapon. Anonymous Coward User ID: 56351546 United States 09/24/2022 08:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If I were giving advice for a so called bug out gun, I'd go with the .22 long rifle solid point 40 grain high velocity round in a semi-automatic rifle. You can carry hundreds of rounds very easily. If you know how to shoot , you can kill anything up to the size of an adult deer, or a human being if necessary. A .22 is a nasty round to get gut shot with or to get holed in the head. This is for a bug out type gun, not a home self defense or self defense caliber where you want to make sure he is dead even if you just nick him. |

Poor things...awwwwwwe Why do you not shoot ptarmigan with a .22? A ptarmigan is essentially a grouse for those who do not know this, in the winter they are easy to kill. Less kills but a hell of a lot better meat. |

I bought an m-11 for $7500. Put on a custom lage upper. I have a full auto rated suppressor that handles mag dumps very well. Also if you have your SOT for manufacturing you can spend the same money for the semi auto gun for full auto. So whatever you paid for you AR15 semi auto is the same price for full auto. Suppressors are not useless on full auto guns unless sub sonic. Why do special forces use suppressors on their AR15s when you never shoot a 5.56 subsonic? It's hides the flash and changes the sound to mask the exact location. It also makes the gun much more pleasant to shoot. |
