I recommend everyone here invest in a 3d printer and make your own guns as well as purchase regular firearms. You can make a Glock for $300 and is just as good as a legit Glock. I just recently built a 9mm CZ EVO 3 for about $550.

Real bug out as in running for your life? or fake bug out with a huge vehicle packed full of everything you need? In a real bug out situation running for your life you would have a small caliber rifle and a 9mm sidearm hopefully and a pack with bare necessities, water filter, wiggy bag, poncho, fire starter, etc. Try carrying a 12ga.or M1A with 100 rounds around for 8 hours and see how you feel.

I would like one of the adult air rifle to hun with. Same Jackie bushman shoot a doe with one on tv . No running and fell on the spot in 10 sex. That gun is 1700.00 though for a pellet rifle..l

Asking that question shows that you are nothing but fodder.

22lr pretty quiet and you can carry a lot of them. If you are a good shot you can kill almost anything with it. I'd still carry a 45 with a few mags for close up work.

I do hike for days with a 12ga, food and ammo ptarmigan hunting, and then down with 12-20 dead Ptarmigans on a good day.

If I were giving advice for a so called bug out gun, I'd go with the .22 long rifle solid point 40 grain high velocity round in a semi-automatic rifle. You can carry hundreds of rounds very easily.



If you know how to shoot , you can kill anything up to the size of an adult deer, or a human being if necessary. A .22 is a nasty round to get gut shot with or to get holed in the head.

This is for a bug out type gun, not a home self defense or self defense caliber where you want to make sure he is dead even if you just nick him.

Springfield Hellcat 13+1 and it's a 9mm. You're gonna miss, so I figure more rounds are better than a bigger bunch with a .40 or .45

Why do you not shoot ptarmigan with a .22?

A ptarmigan is essentially a grouse for those who do not know this, in the winter they are easy to kill.


Less kills but a hell of a lot better meat.

Full autos don't start at $20k. I bought an m-11 for $7500. Put on a custom lage upper. I have a full auto rated suppressor that handles mag dumps very well.

Also if you have your SOT for manufacturing you can spend the same money for the semi auto gun for full auto.
So whatever you paid for you AR15 semi auto is the same price for full auto.

Suppressors are not useless on full auto guns unless sub sonic. Why do special forces use suppressors on their AR15s when you never shoot a 5.56 subsonic?
It's hides the flash and changes the sound to mask the exact location. It also makes the gun much more pleasant to shoot.
