Compare God of the Bible with the creator in NDE stories
The God of the Bible was a vengeful ruler who punished peoples and countries/cities. While the God/supreme being/creator in NDE’s is all loving and does not judge anyone. IT only wants you to learn and love.

Lots of apparitions throughout the years threatened destruction if peoples did not repent of their sins.

I am confused about these mixed messages.

Many people who have had near death experiences have been to Hell also. They were allowed to return to tell us about it. GOD and The Holy Spirit are very, very, loving, wonderful, and awesome, but GOD also walks away from evil and yes, sometimes punishes you. GOD is after all, your Creator, closest parent/relative.

Read about an atheist’s NDE, Howard Storm, he saw both heaven and hell.

After reviewing countless NDE’s the primary and common message is to be kind and loving to others while on Earth.

This is in harmony with Jesus’ commandments to love your neighbors, and to love one another.

Logically this also makes sense, since a parent will likely want their kids to love them, and get along, and be loving and kind to each other. Hence Jesus two greatest commandments, love our creator God, and to love one another.

Re: Compare God of the Bible with the creator in NDE stories
I would start by saying that the vengeful God of the Old Testament is misunderstood. As is the long suffering God of the New Testament.

Most of the things people take umbrage with in the Old Testament were judgements that God carried out against the Nephilim and their followers. It's a long story, but the Nephilim are essentially demons in Judeochristian theology, and they started religions whereby humans worshipped them through human sacrifice and divination.

So in most cases where God is doing something seemingly uncharacteristically cruel, it's against those people (using the term people rather loosely).

Likewise, people misunderstand God's longsuffering in the age of Grace. They think He's changed. Like before He was cruel and menacing, and now He's almost a pushover.

Quite the contrary. The Bible says that judgement has been postponed to give as many as possible the chance to repent. And when Jesus returns, it won't be to preach the gospel, but to judge the nations.

It symbolically describes him with a two edged sword coming out of his mouth. That denotes a specific type of sword that was exclusively used by executioners at the time. In other words, He's coming back to hand out death sentences.

God is the same as He's always been. He's long suffering and quick to forgive those who stumble and repent. The God who forgives adulteresses and prostitutes is the same God who destroyed Sodom, and the same who will destroy the world in the last days. He's not a beast, but He's also not a pushover to be trifled with.

Lastly, I would be careful of believing NDEs. The Bible says it's appointed unto man to die once, so the idea of dying and then coming back conflicts with scripture. Not surprisingly then, most if not all NDE experiencers come back with ideas that aren't really Biblical. Mostly notions that everybody is saved and you don't really need Jesus and things like that. They basically come back as full on New Age teachers.

And have you lived a life your creator would be pleased with? Maybe you experienced nothing because you yourself have done nothing. Thought nothing, touched none. Those who have experienced come back better than before. Are you better? My suspicion is you are not. Which is why you experienced nothing. As your life.

The idea that 'everyone is on their own path' is a New Age phrase used by people to justify their wandering AWAY from what the Bible teaches - simply because they refuse to acceopt many things that Father God - and even Jesus said - as recorded in the Bible manuscripts.

It starts with 'God can NOT really be like that' or something similar - and so they start looking for things that are 'more pleasant' to their ears.

Noah and the Flood are a perfect example. People like to claim God did a 'genocide' when He did the Flood - all the while ignoring the fact that 'all flesh had been corrupted' by the 200 Fallen angels.

Even many Christians try to say that angels didn't mate with humans because of what Jesus said, but they overlook the fact that the angels lost their 'heavenly countinance' once thay landed on earth for good.

This is the ONLY feasible way to explain all the stories and even stone carvings - of giants and odd looking creatures in many of the societies around the world.

The claim that 'all life is sacred' is a construct of humans who clearly don't understand that God's Creation had been tampered with, and He made the decision to cleanse it as much as possible with a worldwide Flood.

This Biblical event is just one that folks simple REFUSE to accept - and so they go looking to other places / sources for something that makes them 'feel good' - rather than accepting truth.

Jesus said the End Times would be like the Days of Noah.

Do a searh online for 'chimera research' and tell me that doesn't sound like DNA / genetic manipulation that happened because of the Fallern angels.

Op…

The God of the Bible gives an explanation of why there is pain, and suffering, and death.

Why we see deceit, and lying and murdering.

.

How does the “nde god” explain the sufferings seen on this earth?

Does s,he have a response to it?

Does s,he have power over it?

A plan?

God was never vengeful in the Bible. He was JUST (as in justice). There is a massive difference. He brought justice and eliminated evil when it became overwhelming. This does not mean that He was being vengeful or full of hatred to the point of raining down fire from heaven or flooding the world.

Scripture even says that God REGRETTED making man because they were so full of evil all of the time on the Earth. He prepared to end humanity once and for all more in disgust and dismay for justice rather than anger. It was the existence of one good man and his family (Noah) that stopped God from wiping out all the evil. Just ONE good man and his family saved humanity from extinction.

Same goes for Sodom and Gomorrah, God comes down and is going to destroy the cities. At no point is He angry or bitter or full of rage while talking to Abraham about it. He is simply calm, collected and even seems a little sad about it. Abraham asks God if He would destroy the cities if there were just 1 good person (Lot) there and God even says that He would not. Yet He sends angels to remove Lot and his family and then brings justice to the both cities.

God sends the Israelite armies (at the end of the exodus) only to destroy those cities that are evil, wicked and would try and destroy Israel if they marched past and had left them standing. Remember, the world was violent and deadly back in that era. Warfare between cities over territory and loot (especially women) was common, sacrificing children to pagan “gods” was common and the world was savage. You cannot judge that era based on modern humanity and how our world is today. God wasn’t angry, He was simply using Israel to destroy these evil people who were wicked to the core and ruled by the sword before they destroyed Israel. At that point He was doing it with His armies in a collaboration between Him and humans (specifically the ancient nation of Israel).

What the vast majority of people take as “anger” from God is not anger, but justice being done. God will always do what is right and just even if it brings death and destruction. He also knows that dying here on Earth is not the end and that life only ends with the destruction of the soul after He judges you at the great white throne judgement. The penalty of sin is death.

This is why accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior is so critical. It saves you from the destruction of the soul, the TRUE death - the end of your existence.

As for NDEs and God, well, I don’t know how to take all of that or what it means. Except for Paul and Steven, there is nothing else written that alludes to NDE experiences. Paul talks about an NDE he had but doesn’t really describe it in detail. Steven sees heaven open up before him just as he is being stoned to death and describes it to everyone around him just before dying.

I am also fascinated by NDEs and have read thousands. I still don’t know what to make of them. Are they DMT? Are they real experiences? Some are not so easily dismissed as DMT trips, especially NDEs where the person leaves the body, sees everything and hears everything happening to them clearly even when their eyes are taped shut and ears plugged during brain surgery before going off and having an NDE experience and coming back.

So God has conditional love for us?

Either we are with him or against him? Does that sound like the caring and compassionate God, or does that sound more like us and how we act here.

God is pure love. Pure love is unconditional.

Conditional love is not love at all, rather it is a form of deceit and manipulation for control.

Careful of any spiritual teachings claiming to be the Word of God that put fear in us, belittle us, divide us, confuse us, or put us in a hierarchy of superiority. Those are teachings from humans still under the strong influence of the ego.

God loves us all unconditionally and equally, regardless if we are Christians or not, believers or not, sinners or not.

God will always lovingly nurture and patiently guide us back onto the path to love when we veered off it from free will exploration or not knowing any better yet.

God doesn't judge and punish. We do.

We want our enemies to suffer hard to make us feel better, and so we wholeheartedly believe and expect God will do the same.

We made God to be dysfunctional just like us, having immature human attributes such as anger, vengeance, judgement, punishment, and conditional love.

When we move further along the spiritual path to love and begin to see a bigger picture and experienced just a tiny bit of God's immense pure unconditional love, we will never ever wish harm or suffering on anyone.

Hell is a human concept used to instill fear in people.

Fear is the opposite of love. Fear will divide us and put us in anger, hatred, frustration, and anxierty; whereas love will unite us in peace.

Fear is one of the biggest blockades to our spiritual growth.

Who benefits the most from denying or suppressing our spiritual growth, and keeping us feeling lowly and unworthy as helpless victims of this chaotic world? It is what masters do to their slaves for obedience and easier control.

No need to describe how an orange tastes. We just need to fill our hearts with pure love and in compassion share that love with others in need through compassionate action. It is how we become more in touch and in unity with God.

Thread: Why are there Different Perceptions of the Creator? Each has their own Perspective (Page 8)

In Exodus chapter 6 God revealed it's highest manifestation to Moses with the name YHVH and contrasted that with the name of El Shaddai that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob knew God as. Commentators in the Stone Edition of the Torah note that El Shaddai was a lesser manifestation of God that put limits on creation through natural laws and put limits on the universe while YHVH was the highest manifestation of God.

Both manifestations of "God" derive from the Creator/Source energy that comes from nothingness or void. Out of nothing came a divine thought that was nothing until it became something. Similar how humans think before speaking words from sounds. The thought arises to produce something more tangible.

The key point is that there is One source to all. The universal mind that is aware and exists and is outside of our realm and unknowable to us.

We are co-creators with this source and by trying to understand and define what created us, we as a group co-create smaller faces or fractals of the unknowable energy that we focus on to call "god". These fractals are part of the unknowable Creator/Source and are given power by those that believe in them.

Groups fight and argue about their opinions and perspectives of what they believe to be truth when in reality whatever each individual believes to be true is their reality and their universe.

The great awakening is when a significant portion of humanity sees through veil to understand that there is only One with many parts and that the parts are really an illusion as the One explores different perspectives of itself.

We are very close to the unveiling where many will understand and see through the illusion.

All those with awareness of existing are part of the greater whole. In the end those with awareness will acknowledge that there is only One and that what we view as separation is just an illusion.

Continue to follow your individual path of awakening. Look deep within your being to know who you are and what you are part of. See beyond the illusions all around you that distract. Do not engage in arguing with others about their path compared to your own, but instead, focus your energies and thoughts on reaching your source and truths within. When you accomplish that, you will grow to change your perspective to see through the illusion by increasing your awareness.

The Creator/Source has total awareness. By going within to enhance our connection to our Source energy, we will expand our awareness to go beyond this world of lies which has each of us distracted.

At least this is my perspective and my path. Yours may be very different as everyone's path is unique. My perspective is only shared to help those on a similar path to mine.

Stay true to yourself and your path.

Enjoy your journey.

Re: Compare God of the Bible with the creator in NDE stories
I died multiple times. Pure energy floating above my body in the hospital.

I floated up to place that had priests in red, gold, and white robes holding a clip board. I was 4.

Didn't go to church, was baptized Catholic.

They were terrified of me up there, warned me not to come back here.

Is New Age religion bad compared to Christianity?

Not here to defend New Age, but to highlight that there are similarities between both:

1. New Agers believe in love and peace. Jesus taught us to have love and to coexist in peace.

2. New Agers believe in the Law of Attraction. Christians use prayers to ask God for things.

3. New Agers believe in karma. Christians believe God will judge and punish.

4. New Agers believe they have divinity within. Bible states the temple of God is within us.

5. New Agers believe in self improvement. Jesus taught it is better to teach people how to fish than to give them a fish everyday.

There are many more similarities.

At the core of all religions is love, until human biases fractured that into numerous religions and sects with each claiming they have the better Truth.

We are made in God's image, the image of love.

The temple of God (love) is within us, in every one of the trillions of DNA in each of our bodies.

Love thy neighbor, not love thy neighbor only if he or she is a Christian or only if in agreement with us.

Love unites us in peace.

Fear and Hatred divide us in turmoil.

All the best!

Re: Compare God of the Bible with the creator in NDE stories
My thoughts on Howard storms hell experience was simply pegs being sorted into the like holes or squares. The creator did not throw him into hell, Howard gravitated there with regard to his own thoughts and behaviors. As soon as Howard changed his frequency by mentally singing ‘Jesus loves me yes I know’ song, he saw the light and moved towards it. In his life review he was loved and not damned.

As far as suffering and pain here on earth, the creator has a plan that we agreed to and are following and allowing to happen. This contract is for our current reincarnation on this planet. It is exactly what we need to grow OR exactly what our fellow spirit needs to make them grow and love more while here on earth.

Re: Compare God of the Bible with the creator in NDE stories
The God of the Bible was a vengeful ruler who punished peoples and countries/cities. While the God/supreme being/creator in NDE’s is all loving and does not judge anyone. IT only wants you to learn and love.

Lots of apparitions throughout the years threatened destruction if peoples did not repent of their sins.

I am confused about these mixed messages.

A lot of the stories in the Bible are the people’s explanations after the fact, after the bad things happened to them - oh it must have been we did this or that wrong, we disobeyed God, - , just trying to make some sense of their defeats in war. They had hundreds of rules and regulations compiled by Ezra and the scribes, and plenty of ways to slant their history showing how disobeying some of the hundreds of rules caused their god to be angry and punish them. The Old Testament dates from Ezra and his scribes and formed the basis of the religion still followed today.
