The light rain started for about 15mins. Then it turned into heavy rain for 10mins with loud thunder sounds that sounded like a explosion in Iraq and lightning flashes. Then the rain stopped. Then all of sudden the heavy rain began again with thunder loud thunder. And the water was extremely cold. The sounds of the heavy rain got louder and louder to the point where me and my friend couldnt hear us talking outside to each other and we were only 3ft away from each other.

The thunder is roaring every 2mins on and off. The winds are picking up a bit. I was getting rained on by the side of my clothes while standing with the umbrella

And a reminder the Hurricane storm winds and rain have not even really arrived yet

Expect a lot ot Flooding to come to Miami. As it will rain for several days

That High might cut it off/stall it. Ida was coupled with a front moving eastward.

If Ian stalls as a remnant low, it could dump a lot of rain on the Virginia's.

It'll probably turn out to sea.

A lot of models have Ian blocked and moving from west to east across the border of North and South Carolina and back out to sea.

The news just said it is going to churn for 47 hours when it gets to Tampa, keeping the the storm surge inland while it rains like bitch.

I will predict It will be one of the most costly hurricanes.

I just have this strong feeling they have the trajectory of this storm totally wrong and are wayyy off base. They need to focus their attention to the panhandle…. Maybe even as far west as NO, but for sure between Pensecola and Panama City. The water in that area is 88-90 degrees and it’s going to track WNW once it gets past Cuba…..
