Kherson and Liman have turned into a vast graveyard of Ukrainian tanks and armored vehicles with the Russians reporting that the Ukrainian counter-offensive has almost run out of forces and resources.

Key to the developments is the city of Liman which is still besieged by the Ukrainians but having suffered heavy losses. If the Russians lose it then the Ukrainians will retaliate in Lugansk as well.

If the Russians manage to hold it and their positions are strengthened, then a Russian counterattack will begin.

The second "key" to developments for Donetsk is the city of Bakhmut (Artyomovsk). Russian forces are very close to breaking through Ukrainian defense lines.

The Ukrainian counterattack in Kharkiv has died down
The counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine which started from Kharkiv has entered the "saturation phase" Russian military sources report and add:
