I cannot embed the video on this crappy tablet computer, but there was a GREAT video on utube last night.

Canadian Prepper interviewed David Pyne who has quite the resume regarding war and nuclear weapons.

Pyne is the first guy I have heard that understands that the Russians have far more nukes than we do. He estimates the Chicoms may have up to 4,000 warheads as well.

He concludes that if there is a WWIII, the USA will lose decisively.

Go to utube and search for Canadian Prepper. Look for the video titled “Buckle Up”.

Our leaders in the West are leading us into a deadly conflict with two nuclear armed nations. Apparently, there is no effort in Congress or the Maladministration of Joseph the Usurper to build more nukes.

Even if YOU personally believe that nuclear wars cannot be won, the Russians and CCP do not agree.

Like Pyne said, “Of course you can win a nuclear war. We proved that in 1945”.

It is past time to prep for what is coming.

I agree with most of that, but 1945 was a special situation where the recipient of the bombs had no answer to them other than surrender, more comparable to Europeans having guns and Indians having bows and arrows than anything going on now. Guaranteed, if the Japanese had had nukes, Honolulu and San Francisco would have looked like Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Yeah, China and Russia have more combined nukes than we do, but we have plenty to get the job done. They would certainly destroy us in a nuclear war, but it would be the most pyrrhic victory (if it even would be a victory) in the history of the world.

Revbo, with all due respect, I studied nuclear war strategy at the Hudson Trade School for Wayward Boys. Later, I was involved in nuclear strategy while working on Reagan’s Star Wars programs.

Right now, I have the book “Soviet Strategy for Nuclear War” based on THEIR training documents.

This is how the Russians would expect to win a nuclear war:

1. Multiple warheads on each silo to ensure destruction.
2. Destroy all aircraft on the ground and ships in port with SLBMs.
3. Destroy every carrier battle group and sub at sea using nuclear depth charges and torpedoes.
4. Destroy the comm facilities on land with SLBMs to prevent launch codes from being transmitted to subs on patrol that may have survived.
5. AVOID hitting cities. They are hostages.
6. Demand negotiation/surrender or the cities would be hit.

The only counter is a President who will retaliate even if over 90% of our nukes are destroyed in the first strike.

YES, the Russians and Chicoms would be taking a huge risk.

However, in their calculation it might be the only move that they think they have.

IMHO, the probability that Putin will use tactical nukes in Ukraine is over 75%.

How do we prevent escalation?

A more basic question: What is the US national interest in Ukraine that requires us to spend so much blood and treasure while risking annihilation?
 Quoting: darth

That last question is pretty easy to answer at least:

The US is a dying empire. When empires die they don't go gently into the night, they lash out in a desperate attempt to delay the inevitable.

The US is today a hollowed-out shell that only survives by printing dollars to buy what it needs from the rest of the world, which the rest of the world only accepts because they get bombed to smithereens if they don't.

But now a certain rising power (China) has grown in strength to the point where it feels it can challenge the US. This emboldens other nations to attempt to escape their subservience to the US by aligning themselves with China instead. The dollar is being abandoned by a huge chunk of the world. Which will mean the end of US global dominance and parasitism if nothing is done about it.

And so the US is lashing out.

The war in Ukraine was orchestrated partly to break up the economic ties between Germany and Russia to keep a competing power from arising in Eurasia, and partly with the hope of fracturing Russia and plundering its resources. If successful, China will be next on the chopping block.

TL/DR:
It's all about the dollar.
