Apologies for the delay however Nando’s fucked up My order…
I attempted, unsuccessfully I might add, to call the Menulog customer service line but alas, no one answered…
So I drove down to the store on Hall Road in Carrum Downs, the one just before the servo on the left…
I walked in and plonked my order down on the counter, there were quite a few in the restaurant area and another 7-8 people waiting for their takeaway orders out front…
The girl behind the counter looked frightened as I said, “I’ve had one of those days, you know, one of those days that never seems to fucking end…ALL I wanted to do was sit down and enjoy My dinner in peace…Apparently I AM unable to perform this task as I didn’t receive what I had asked for…So, here’s what you sent me, I’d like a full refund.”
She said nervously, “I’ll get the manager…”
Dude comes over and looks at me and asks what’s wrong…
I explained to him that what I received was incorrect and that he may prepare my order again…
He said that he was out of rice.
I said then you shouldn’t have accepted My order.
He looked down and nodded.
I forgave him instantly.
And like magic he came to life…
I told him I will require a full refund to which he agreed as he proceeded to the till.
I let him go for about a minute…
Then I said, “Don’t worry about it now (as I looked around), now get back to work and take care of these people.”
He smiled and nodded and went about his way.
I went to the servo and purchased a coffee flavoured milk and a Snickers bar…
