I didn't look at the pictures, however I did see some main stream media reports filmed from "devastated" marinas full of crushed-up boats.

Fucking materialistic eye porn sensationalism, where people losing their roof over their head is not sexy enough to beam around the world.

A million dollar car, that is made from basically the same component parts as a cheap run-around, sprinkling with fairy-dust, bullshit pointless gadgets, materials, needless complexity and otherwise excessively ridiculous bells, whistles and baubles. Oh and can go 200 MPH and 0 - 60 MPH in under 4 seconds on congested, pot-holed, speed limited strips of tarmac.
