This is slave labor, this is a community that has to live "under the radar" and "in fear" and that makes them vulnerable to being financially exploited for the benefit of others. Make no mistake, that is exactly the intent, not to mention the other angle, sex trafficing. Don't be fooled, they don't want a gateway to true citizenship, because with that comes rights and a voice to speak out. They want them to live in fear, live in the shadows and be exploited. Why, anyone, can stand behind the flow of slave/sex labor while thinking they are doing the "humane" thing is beyond me. It's naive at best, downright evil at worst. A militarized border with ZERO illegal crossing would be the best thing for everyone, on both sides of the border. |
