Anonymous Coward User ID: 377783 United States 03/22/2008 04:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | get repeater devices go to a mexican restaurant and get takeout, they give you pie pans and these reflective metallic pan covers (use them as parabolic focusers on your antennes increase the output on your router, if you have a linksys router you can probably put dd-wrt firmware on it and increase the transmit mW's as high as you feel like going, but recieving is all about your location and/or any repeaters you have along the path. |

I have an old sat. dish that I converted to use with a WiFi USB Dongle...I can poach 5 miles over open water... Look up 'cantenna' or 'war driving'...
