Alert at NATO HQs: Russia is rehearsing to annihilate Britain - K-329 Belgorod fires the "Weapon of the Apocalypse"

NATO has been on alert as the Russian K-329 Belgorod submarine has sailed, carrying six 100 megaton Poseidon nuclear super-torpedoes capable of wiping out entire cities.

Russia recently issued NAVTEX raising suspicions that the Poseidon super-torpedo is about to be tested in the Kara sea area in the Arctic Ocean. This is a rehearsal for the liberation of Britain.

This is the fourth consecutive deployment of nuclear weapons. Preceded by:

Redeployment of strategic nuclear bombers Tu-160 and Tu-95 on the border with Finland. These bombers can also carry nuclear missiles

There are three MiG-31s with Kinzhals stationed in Kaliningrad. They can also carry nuclear hypersonic missiles

NATO in its report emphasizes the following:

“Putin appears close to a new challenge to the West and raising the level of nuclear confrontation even further. The alarm stems from a NATO intelligence report circulated to major allied commands in recent days.

A report concerning the movements of the Belgorod nuclear submarine, which was commissioned in July. Now it has returned to dive in the Arctic seas and it is feared that its mission is to test for the first time the Poseidon super-torpedo, often referred to as the 'weapon of the Apocalypse'" , the Italian newspaper reported.

A NATO intelligence report, which was sent to the most important allied headquarters in recent days, has sounded the alarm about the movements of the Russian submarine.

As the Italian La Repubblica reveals, NATO has sent a relevant report to several allied central commands in recent days, as the Russian submarine "escapes" from American radars.

Radioactive tsunami
This radioactive wave can wipe out metropolises like New York or Los Angeles. Experts explain that the same effect can be achieved with intercontinental ballistic missiles, which have been around since the 1960s.

The K-329 Belgorod submarine is seen as a model of the new concept of warfare that Putin's admirals have adopted in recent years, following the escalation of tensions with the US.

Lacking large aircraft carriers and cruisers to compete with the US Navy, they have focused on submarines.

In 2019, Putin ordered that plans for a strategic submarine be modified to power drones and mini-submarines capable of operating at depths where no NATO vessel can dive.

"It is a completely new class of weapons that will force a change in the planning of Western forces, leading to the definition of new requirements and new means to deal with it," wrote expert HI Sutton, as noted by the Italian newspaper.

Development of the Poseidon has been ongoing for years, with NATO officials remaining tight-lipped in their estimates. Allegedly, some tests were carried out as early as 2015, but there were never any launches from Belgorod.

Few believe the super-torpedo could already be operational, but even the mere announcement of its test would allow the Kremlin to demonstrate a unique capability in its tug-of-war with the West: a weapon against which there are no defenses.

The submarine Belgorod sailed
According to what has become known so far, the specially modified submarine "Belgorod" has already set sail. It is the carrier of the "Poseidon" nuclear torpedoes.

Little is known about this particular submarine. "Belgorod" was delivered in April 2019 to the special GUGI Service. It is a Deep Research Directorate and is an organizational structure within the Russian Ministry of Defense. But it operates separately from the Navy.

It is based in the Gulf of Olenya, coast of the Barents Sea where the 29th Special Submarine Squadron is based which has "mini submarines" and "mother ships" such as "Podmoskovkye" (BS-64) and "Orenburg" (BS-136 ).

What is the Poseidon torpedo?
It is an intercontinental nuclear torpedo formerly codenamed Status-6.

The torpedo is equipped with a small nuclear reactor (!) and can reach a speed of 54 knots. The torpedo can operate at a maximum depth of 1,000 meters and hit aircraft carriers, submarines, ports, cities and other coastal facilities.

The explosion would create a radioactive tsunami, rendering large areas inaccessible for generations.

Russian media reported some time ago that the nuclear warhead of the "Poseidon" torpedo can be adjusted to various levels from 2 to 100 megatons. Such a force against a city like New York would instantly kill at least 2.5 million people, injure another 5 million, and spread radiation as far as Quebec.

The first public American report of the existence of this weapon was made in September 2015. On November 10 of the same year, the Russian television station NTV showed a document of the new weapon in the hand of a Russian general during an exhibition in which the Russian president Vladimir Putin denounced American aggression.

A few months ago, Dmitry Kiselyov, a man known as the "Kremlin mouthpiece", proposed on his show on a Russian channel to attack Britain with the Poseidon torpedo which, he said, could set off a radioactive tidal wave of 500 meters and " sink Britain into the depths of the ocean"

The torpedo "has a capacity for a warhead of up to 100 megatons," several thousand times the power of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima — which would "raise a giant wave, a tsunami, up to 1,640 feet high" — enough to cover at least half the distance to the highest point in England.
