The world is a trap, the men and their ideas the snares.

We are at a point now to where the richest man the public knows about wants to fix and\or be involved in everything - space, AI, social media, disputes between countries, energy, connecting brains to a neural network, etc

Wants to build an 'everything app' that seemingly combines all these things and future things he wants.

Even if his intent really is for the betterment of mankind, even if that's his goal. A consolidation of everything into a single source of power and influence is just about the most dangerous thing ever. Whoever rules that, rules it all.

Even the most well-intentioned person would have a hard time holding on to that without it getting corrupted, and the amount of drooling wolves circling it ready to take it would multiply by the day.

If intentions are good, it might even be good for a while. That's the real trap. You get settled in it, and it's not detachable. You're stuck in it, and it's hard to get out of it or change from it.

We're at a wild point in technology to where brains possibly connecting to each other within a network is on a horizon, and AI becomes more and more convincing. So much danger in it all, and we as humans are far too immature overall to handle it. We can't even handle social media collectively, let alone what's coming.

This is the opposite of what I would prefer. I want more and more things owned by more and more people. Not it all consolidated to less and less, which is what happens to everything. Just a handful of people as it is, owns most of the powerful influences of the earth.

Communications should be without owner - speech is self-regulating by the will of the people who speak.

If Twitter allows true to the law style free speech on their platform they'll be removed from the Google and Apple app stores within a week. I have a feeling Twitter will become more free than it is, but not what everyone wants it to be, Elon will probably play ball in order to keep Twitter in the app stores.

All these people with a lot of money but no power always have good intentions until the power beyond imagination knocks on their doors and make them change their minds. You can’t judge them if they change.
