It's not about urges. It's about balance. My whole family is androgynous. Most people in this world are imbalanced and look for love to seek balance. Toxic masculine men will look for toxic feminine woman who has high-pitched voice and acts dependent with high heels who is manipulative. One imbalanced seeks the other imbalance to work things out. Androgyny in a spiritual context is the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine swapping roles. They feel both energies deeply.

Each have energies of the polar attributes - a man could consciously step into their feminine energy and operate effectively empathize, nurture, sense, hold, care if not better than most women. A divine feminine woman could rock into her masculine and slay better than the majority of men. Fight, become intellectual, problem solve - executes and is clear.

Androgynous has a specific meaning. You can't just change the meaning of words around your feelings, and tell everybody else that they are using the word incorrectly. Androgyny has nothing to do with "balance" of male and female energies or any other such hippie bullshit.

I looked just now into the Oracle (iPhone) and it gave a few definitions. Firstly there is something called "sacred androgyny" that which i mentioned ... spiritually speaking the Divine Fem/Masculine cultivating and living roles not assigned their gender. Plenty for you to find on your own.
