AstraZeneca and the Russian gov collaborated on making the vaccine, and continue to do so even after the Ukraine invasion and Western sanctions.
Putin-puffers won't like to hear this, but the Sputnik vax is really just AstraZeneca, and now the mobilisation is being used to force more and more Russians to get it.
