If you are a survivor you would be staying away from the type of people that would attract. Drugs/alcohol are not good for bartering if you want to live post SHTF, people will be desperate and crazy

I would have some stocked however, in case you need to amputate a leg with a saw

Smaller is practical, same with metals.

The airplane/mini bar size bottles. Cant wait for some dummy forking over a gold coin for a couple of mini bar shots of Jack Daniels and a coke back will cost yah a silver dollar extra.

A mixture of the "mini", 2 ounce size, half pints and pints of vodka, gin, whiskey, and bourbon of some sort.

Probably half pints, but you pay more for them per ml than if you buy fifths. But they're very handy, and they usually come in plastic bottles that are flat, so very easy to barter with.

Get the home wrecker size OP. Then serve shots to barter with. One shot = 1 oz silver.

Barter isn't really going to be possible until after at least 3 major die-offs or 1-2 years have passed. Whichever comes first.

You try to barter before that and I guarantee you will be overrun.

Why barter something a thug would want.. so they can come back later that night?
