YHVH is the Supreme Creator. He seems like a tribal god in the Pentateuch because He was the God of the Israelites

When you look at Exodus through Deuteronomy, He isn't the God of all the other tribes scattered about. Only to Abraham and his seed.

In the Pentateuch, He is the God of One People, and leads them and deals with them directly.

I often wonder how YHVH will present Himself during the Tribulation. I doubt it will be as innocuous as a pillar of fire and smoke.
