They own the world. Your home. Your investment company of your home.

How did we allow them to get like this???

Blackrock was built to own everything.

Think of the trillion dollar coin concept from the mint. It's not worth it, but it can technically settle debt issues.

Now picture a holding company built from the ground up with bad real-estate in mind.
Not just the multi million dollar condos that nobody can afford to live in, or the office space downtown that nobody can afford to rent, but all the worthless mortgages made to people who should never have been given a loan, all thevreverse mortgages, the bad car loans, the credit cards tge student loans tge municipal bonds.
All worthless. But on paper an asset.
So now rather than bring all business down, consolidate consolidate consolidate.
Then declare bankruptcy of ONE business.
And buy back the distressed assets for pennies on the dollar later.

You can't do it.
I can't do it.
It's a big club, and we're not in it.
But they do it for each other.
Remember the sky dome in Toronto?
Cost couple hundred million. Went bankrupt then the builders buddy bought it for ten cents on the dollar.

So basically... We are now working for blackrock and Vanguard somewhere along the line...

This is the problem with entities that have a lot of possessions. In many instances, they will never be satisfied until they have it all. There is often a high price to pay for being too greedy though. Some of our "elites" don't seem to realize this or if they do, they simply don't care.

Conservatives in both parties believe strongly in rule by rich. First they perverted the supreme court in the 70’s bending campaign finance so they could openly bribe politicians finished it off with citizens United. Then consolidated the media completed under Obama. Then you get into Friedmans neoliberalism which regan ushered in. It was a long slide but now you have a completely brainwashed society full of idiots in their own echo chambers blaming each other while letting the oligarchs do whatever the fuck they want. There will be no middle class pre regan 66% of the population was middle class now it’s less than 50. An uninformed population let this happen.
