How to Extract Chlorophyll


Method : Using Ethanol/Drinking Alcohol
You Will Need

- 10 ml Ethanol/Alcohol
- Spinach Leaves
- Funnel
- Shallow Beakers

Procedure[

- Into one of the beakers, place the shredded spinach leaves (chop it as fine as you can).
- Into the same beaker, add the drinking alcohol/ethanol.
- Stir vigorously for a few minutes, till the liquid turns green.
- Strain the solution by passing it through the funnel.
- Pour into the other beaker and keep overnight for the alcohol to evaporate.
- You will find the extracted chlorophyll at the bottom of the beaker the next morning.

The method you're describing would make a crude extract. It would have almost everything in the plant in it. And you wouldn't want to use cold ethanol you would want to heat it. So make sure you do it in a week ventilated area.

Green Lion = Cannabis. When cannabis is boiled down to a tincture, it looks like liquid gold with shiny gold flecks within it (gold tincture). The bud is always the tail of the lion, often 7 leaf shapes are seen around the beast. The devouring of the sun is cannabis' obvious feminising properties, which, when applied will open those 7 seals.

I have read multiple books on esoteric symbolism and I believe it was Blavatsky who spoke of the green lion, the aspirant - green because he is learning and because he must work from the heart which is represented as the 4th green chakra. The lion because to endeavor into the arts of occult knowledge, into Gods dimensions the aspirant must hold courage and bravery. The lion holds no fear. Consuming the sun is the alchemy of God's energy. Of quiet peace and love for the soul within you real sunlight is beneficial but the quiet focus on being, your breath, on energy flowering through your body. This is the consumption of the sun. Non denatured ethanol will extract chlorophyll from pretty much any green plant in 48hrs. Keep the extract in the fridge.

I love Barleygrass.

Just experimenting now to see if I can get the same buzz from Sweet Potato leaves.

Will try many types... Actually some of them have caveats... like high allicin content, or oxalates.

I figure, just try everything, right?



This is a pretty good overview of what Im eating right now.

I wouldn't fry them in gloopy oil.

Raw is alright. Soaked overnight in some salt water is best.

Sweet potato leaves grow abundantly, and are considered almost weeds.

Weeds are tough and hard to kill, so lets eat more of them.

You might try wheat grass.
I was putting it in a blender to get the chlorophyl.
All the green came off into the water & I was left with yellowish white grass to filter out.
It did seem to do a lot for me~

I'd prefer a less toxic and slightly weaker tincture, with 40% proof, than a stronger one with ethanol...

If I just boiled lots of greens, and ate them, what would I be missing?

Most people say chlorophyll is destroyed by boiling. Does everyone 100% agree with that?

Can leaving boiled sweet potato leaves to steep overnight make a healthy breakfast?

Seems to be radically improving my health and perception. I wonder if the softer product of boiling loses some chlorophyll, but makes it more bio-available.

Just guessing here.

Might as well start by watching of ton of videos on every single method.

This guy uses straining and boiling. He has a wonderful Muppet Show Chef accent. There's a pic of three of them at the end. They come across like people who know things.



Basic alcohol extraction in the next vid. They're saying it should be 70 to 95%. If I steep green leaves in 20% rice wine, Soju, or 40% vodka, am I losing a lot?

How vital is high alcohol? I defer to the experts. Might as well look for some everclear or cane alcohol.

Chlorophyll plus nofap is a pretty potent combo. Nofap gives you Yang energy, but you need the Chlorophyll to soften and feminize the raw masculine buildup.

Blood and Chlorophyll are very similar.

Vamps stay young by ingesting blood.

Megadosing green extracts, and even pure chlorophyll, might be a very good idea.

I wonder if enough of it can actually reverse aging.

I've felt pretty good after boiling the leaves until they are soft and eating them.

I wonder if there's still some bioavailable chlorophyll left after you steam it hard, or if Im kidding myself.

All I know is that when I really steam until the leaves are soft, the resulting meal makes me feel really good.

I guess steeping overnight in water is probably the safest bet. It'l soften the plant without actually destroying any precious compounds.

It was 5x better to eat, and I figure much easier to digest.

For the next week I'm going to focus on making really high quality diced green leaf food with pepper, ginger, chili etc.

Sound kind of nerdy, but chlorophyll megadosing is one of the most consistent and powerful spiritual elixirs I have ever found.

It helps me project to the Wild Green Yonder much easier.

Just now I used scissors and cut up a pepper, sweet potato leaf and lime juice salad for a full 5 minutes, until it was properly diced really small.

It was 5x better to eat, and I figure much easier to digest.

It's true that I use monkey/typewriter random-fool brownian-gump methods. You could call it focused flailing. If you keep a moderate laser focus, you will eventually crawl towards something useful.

Now. Because I'm sure you are busy, I will write three questions. Thanks for your time. And thanks to JJack for making everyone aware of chlorophyll way back when.

1) What do you think are the best solvents / methods to extract chlorophyll? Is there anything better than alcohol?

2) What keywords could I research to better understand the best methods of extraction? Either alchemical or modern science methods are fine.

3) Chlorophyllin is the commonly available compound in health shops. I suspect it is half-decent, but a pale green shadow of the 'real stuff' that the quiet immortals take. So... what's the best way to get a pure, stabilized chlorophyll compound with commonly available equipment? I know it degrades quickly. One of the reasons the pure stuff is rarely sold.

Maybe multiple-distilled water, like they took in Lemuria, plus Chlorophyll, would be a good elixir.

My seeing is telling me you could keep distilling and distilling chlorophyll extract using glass bottle or copper equipment, until you got something very pure.

Jack emphasized distillation using copper equipment repeatedly.

How do you separate chlorophyll and extract?

Distillation. One well-known technique to separate the chlorophyll is using distillation under vacuum. During wiped film distillation, the extract is fed into a heated column with a rotating wiper blade that evenly distributes the extract onto the surface of the walls.

Pretty good primer on home extraction. I'm sure the secret societies have far more advanced methods. But let's start slow, learn the basic principles, and grab the low hanging fruit.

So I remember watching moonshiners way back a few years or more and one of the old timers mentioning how there were jars of moonshine herbal extracts around the house and he would fake sick as a boy so he could sip a bit. It stuck with me obviously. I wonder what kind of healthy herbal concoctions we could be drinking on.

I've always heard 40% (80 proof) minimum is required to do a proper alcohol extract. Chlorophyll specifically, I'm not sure. It seems water soluble. There are some extraction devices they make for weed butter I bet would help. Just adding a little heat to the process helps it along. Heat and time.

It kind of jogs my memory to gruit. They would use different herbs to make beer until there was I believe a law passed stating beer can only be so many ingredients.
