Read Mat Ch 24. Jesus told us what we would see and experience. Everything up to the Day of The Lord's return, Which is Mid Trib.
He only comes once, not twice. there is no First coming that is only in the air to Rapture the Church. Israel was his concern, not the Gentile church, that is to whom the message was given.
God loves and protects Israel First, then the church. Not the other way around.

What happens if a Christian dies or is killed right before the Rapture. Will he be in heaven and be able to see all the Raptured ones arriving? If he wouldn’t be in heaven, where would he be if he died for example the day before the Rapture?

There is no pre trib rapture. If you die before the tribulation, and you are a Christian, you will come back with the LORD to meet the Christians (still alive at that point), in the air. All Christians will either be with CHRIST, or changed in an instant to meet Christ in the air.

I believe in God, and I am willing to stand for him even if things get difficult. If the rapture turns out to be true, great! No harm, no foul. But if it turns out to be false, I'm not sure I want to be caught unprepared because I was lazy in my assumptions.
