Re: I have to bribe a judge
Alternatively the lawyer is currying favor with the judge by getting his clients to contribute money to the judge. Lawyer can boast that you're his client and you paid in the money.

Having received the money the judge might have to rule against you.

I am not sure it's a good idea at all. Any way you can get this lawyer checked out? There's no special reason this case should need a bribe.

The opposition has already contributed. I am supposed to "level the playing field" I will disclose all involved after the proceedings. Believe Me.

LMAO, I know, right?

Just do your homework, find a Democrat judge and particularly one with Soros, Obama or Clinton connections.

They are assuredly corrupt enough to take “contributions” and be your friend

Re: I have to bribe a judge
So long story short. Sister in law is being a dick on a $190 estate. We don't really give a fuck, but she stole all of it. Charging the estate travel expenses for trips to London, New York and Texas. She needs to go to hell. Meth addict. Now we have to fly to Oklahoma for the final hearing, and our lawyer "suggests" that we contribute to the judges campaign to the tune of $3000.00 to settle. WFF????

Re: I have to bribe a judge
3K is about right.

I was involved briefly with politics...or rather just saw a campaign from the inside. High level state office.

I had contributed because I thought the candidate was a stand up guy. Turns out they all operate about the same way regardless of party.

It was made known that certain opportunities might be made available, but I politely declined the "opportunities". Wasn't the reason I contributed. Didn't want anything.

Bottom line, "clout" going rate is 3% +/-...depends on whether the "benefit" is part of the general flow.

Here's my advice op...don't get involved. You said yourself you don't need the scratch and if you try and do it to incriminate players in the "system" you may aggravate the wrong person.

Not worth it, and you're not going to change anything.

Thank you for your post. The thing that gets me most is the corruption in the "system". Mama don't play that way. No amount of money is worth my principles.
