Walmart began using artificial intelligence to crack down on self-checkout thefts in 2019, using cameras to make sure every item that has been bagged was scanned.

The system, known internally as Missed Scan Detection, can monitor both self- and manned checkout stations and reports potential missed scans to an attendant who can investigate.

A Walmart spokesman said that "Over the last three years, the company has invested over half a billion dollars in an effort to prevent, reduce and deter crime in our stores and parking lots."

Seems like if the weight of your bags don't match with the weight of properly scanned items then it's going to trip a recording with a red flag that Walmart is free to archive for future use.

Just this week I went to Walmart and bought 3 boxes of kitty litter and 3 cases of bottled water.

When I checked out, for some reason I thought I had 2 cases of water. All that shit is heavy so I just used the hand scanner to ring them in. It wasn't until I got to my truck that I realized I had 3 cases of water.

OOOPS! My Bad. Nobody said anything to me about it though.

Then 2 days ago I made an online order at Walmart because I had a code to get $15 off an order of $75.00 or more.

When I got there half the stuff I ordered was out of stock so there was only $31 worth of groceries. Amazingly I still got the $15.00 discount. Not only that but they sent me a $10 off my next online order because they were missing so many of my items.

From now on I will only go to Walmart in black face
