More train problems from/around New York!! Grand Central was closed down for a few hours a couple of weeks ago!! The "official" story was that a building was collapsing!!!

ok help me out here. there's this train transportation problem and the AA 200 flights not flying. Anyone have any ideas WTF is really going on. Or ...you know ...I'm game to hear an outlandish theory.

AA 200 flights? what the fuck is that all about? I was in Grand Central like yesterday, and it looked fine to me!

I'm in midtown now (not far from Penn Station) and I've been hearing sirens for the last 10 minutes or so. Is there a fire or incident in Penn Station?

In other news somebody somewhere broke a finger nail...

Seems to be a regular problem due to an obsolete power system that is still using 25hz instead of 60hz. The 25hz comes from dedicated generators and is also converted from commercial 60hz. Due to the special nature of this power system, the redundancy is limited when part of the system fails.

Pleae! anyone! somebody rescue those poor people before they resort to cannibalism!
