Best scary Halloween movie?

horror movies don't scare me very often because they seem
unrealistic to me.

this was one that i thought was kind of creepy.

The best recent monster movies are the "A quite place" and "A quiet place 2".

Look into Lovecraftian Horror for a good choice.

They provide an otherworldly omnipresent scale of fear.

At the bare minimum I declare this at least the best intro.

Pumpkinhead was actually underrated.

My favorite, which maybe isn't as scary as some of the others listed, is the original Flatliners. Allstar cast. Deals with a topic of much interest to me, the afterlife. In the movie, the plot climaxes on Halloween night, and has a happy ending after the athiest character prays to GOD and says he repents for meddling in GOD's affairs. Good flick from back before Hollywood went over the edge.
