If the Bruce Willis-looking dude that faked the murder of Anne Lively was the John Doe when I believe Anderton (Tom Cruise) visited the pre-crime pods, keeping mind they probably had cameras that saw Anderton visit the pre-crime pods and be shown that he saw the John Doe, then.....

The movie is about weeding the good out of the system through making Anderton look like he was in on the corruption (as sad as this is but we know he wasn't even a killer) and having a system that convinces the authorities that oversee the fake 'dream loop' of Anderton at the end to make it look like it was his 'Utopian Vision' to set up Lamar (we know Lamar is the evil one though)....the fact that they see the Bruce Willis-looking dude being dragged away from the 'fake murder' of Anne Lively in his Utopian vision further confirms it was part of the set-up and lied about the John Doe in the set up and covered for the Bruce Willis dude, who they'll pin as the abductor of all the children in that scene, making Crow (the actual abductor) look like the fall guy when he is actually, as I said, the abductor which means those pictures were NOT FAKE...and if they somehow extract the Bruce Willis-looking John Doe guy he was all a part of the set up and will likely make a fake confession.

One of the saddest movies in history.

read the short story by phil dick. the movie left out a lot and changed the original intent.

I assure you, the book is WAY more difficult to understand than the movie.

In the future, it won't be " They're tapping my phone", it will be "My phone is spying on me"
