He didn't want to drive the bus or even be on the bus when it all began. He downplayed it. A lot of Conservative politicians were caught in a Catch 22. Worldwide the media was about to begin telling everyone COVID would kill millions. No other messaging stood a chance. So if you did nothing you were responsible with blood on your hands. The optics would be terrible. He listened to advice that told him the way out was a vaccine that would stop it. That would seem reasonable I think. So he did it. The difference is he never mandated you take it. Didn't fire federal employees. Didn't crater the economy. Turns out he got advice from the wrong people who had alterior motives. That's on him. And I wish he'd get off the vaccine bandwagon now. But there is no comparison between his approach & Joe Bama's. And one is 1,000% superior to the other. Now people are getting and sick and dying from the experimental vaccine and of course those who broke the law want to blame Trump because they broke the law.
