Two people walk up to you and offer you a drink. It's actually cyanide, but they both tell you its water. One person leaves it as an option while the other is more forceful. But you're dying of thirst, they approached you knowing this fact, so it's a tempting prospect anyways. They want you to drink. Would you be more angry at the forceful aggressive one or should you be angry at both because neither one said anything about it being cyanide? They both told you it was water. That's the flaw in the argument of support vs mandate with Trump. Two years afterwards he's still telling people it's perfectly safe and has acknowledged nothing bad about it. |
