That was done solely because a vaccine has to be on the CDC recommended child vaccine list for the vaccine to retain immunity from lawsuits after it is formally FDA approved. It is all extremely corrupt and human health likely isn't even a factor they consider much anymore.

Without the recent CDC recommendation, the vaccine makers would have become liable for any injuries caused as a result of doses given after the current emergency use liability immunity went away.
