In twitter you can create many accounts, and hit a date on each account, if you hit the date and prediction on one of the accounts you make the account publically visible, that's how it's done.

Sounds valid, seems like a scam to get attention.

He didn’t change the post date, you can’t do that (at least I don’t think so)

His trick was easily revealed.

All he did was set his posts to private and posted a death prediction for ever day of the year(s) and when it finally happened, he set that particular post to public so that the people finally reading it believe it was really posted on Feb as an accurate prediction.

Very simple trick, albeit a bit tedious to do for so many days. Automated could have also assisted him to post the same message for every day of the year or multiple years in private mode.
