No its barely leaving Florida.

Yes it is raining here and been cloudy all day, which makes this even more bizarre! I have photos and video but no idea how to post pictures.

I'm about 20 miles SE of Raleigh, out in the county, where it's dark at night. Sky's about as bright as I'd expect it to be only 2 nights past a full moon, but it's completely clouded over and drizzling slightly. So, since I'm not in an area with any street lights to speak of, I'm not sure where the light's is coming from that is reflecting off the underside of the clouds. Even though the moon's still close to full, it's on the other side of a very thick layer of clouds. So, a little weird. Feels creepy out there too - that dead calm before the hurricane starts arriving...

Ok, saw it (had to take the errant tag off the end of the URL, though)… that is from city lights reflecting off a low cloud layer. What population center is in that direction, OP, and how far away is it?
