I'll just say this, there is more to the story overall. and the story as it is in today's bible's have been manipulated to at least some extent.

The story has multiple layers of understanding for different levels of awareness one can reach in life.

Much of it if not all of it are allegorical stories trying to convey a much deeper meaning of the spiritual...

which essentially means that the 'surface' level understanding that most are taught growing up and never evolve from, is actually the furthest from the truth. gotta dig deeper for the real meanings. and no I'm not going to just lay it out for your. it doesn't work that way. literally people have to discover this for themselves by themselves. the mysteries if you will. some of which are actually in the mystery schools that exist.

History, mythology, and second-hand information always has and always will be a matter of faith. I put my faith in the people living today who have testimony of an encounter with their God. That's more than enough proof of existence for someone such as myself.
