He only got reelected because Trump helped him and he nearly lost one of those elections over the last two terms. She'll most likely destroy him next time, but then again McConnell I think is in his 80s. He can't go on forever and Kentucky has a Democratic Governor at the moment who can appoint himself or another Democratic Senator to Senate.

There is no mechanism in place to recall a sitting senator. It would require a constitutional amendment to do so. The only way to replace a senator is by death or resignation.

The old geezers that have unquestionable faith in Mitch (for whatever fucked up reason) are all dying out now. I wouldn’t be too surprised if this state ended up going blue in the future.

I registered as a democrat just so I can vote in the primaries here hoping to get a decent candidate to run against Mitch. It’s bought out to the brim here.

People have protested multiple times at Mitch McConnels residence. We need a real solution. It’s going to be very sad for all of us if he gets off the hook.
