I saw a werewolf two days ago at 4am at north end of Santa Monica on beach. I was packing up for 1 hour walk to make open at Pete's coffee so i could charge phone. I heard a wolf howl loudly from approximately a football field away.
I know what wolves sound like from 2 decades of camping every night across the whole lower 48 and tracking them in Idaho to stop logging via esa in wilderness areas. There are no wolves in Santa Monica. So i assumed it was a high quality audio recording. But i heard nothing else. No music. Nothing. Why would someone do that when no one would hear but a bum on the beach at 4am? Then this guy stumbles across the beach and collapses to the ground on thecother side of volleyball net my hammock is hanging from. He lays there for a couple seconds. Gets up, shakes off the sand. Then continued on towards malibu. Of course i can't be sure he made the howl, nor if that makes him a werewolf or just the worlds greatest wolf mimic. But Holy Hell that was strange. A week ago i would have laughed at the idea werewolfs were real. But now i am not so sure. Strange days indeed.
