Re: Did a catastrophic freshwater flood kill The Mammoths
The Flood of the Bible Killed the mammoths, just like it did the dinosaurs and all other extinct animals. Stop complicating what God has already told you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Cowan 79163478

Mammoths, sure. But, dinosaurs never existed. There may have been larger reptiles of the time just like larger sharks and larger elephants. That was because of the mist layer that covered the earth and allowed for longer lifespans for humans and animals. THAT is what came down from above. Plus the aquaducts below ground that caused the flood.

The different species they pretend are all faked. They just take one bone and imagine an entire animal around it. And imagine a skin covering and coloring.
No one ever found these bones prior to the 1840s original fakery and name. But, then there was a bounty paid to people to pretend to find them. The world wants to pretend there is no GOD. Thus the milion billion year evolution fakery stories.

The most obvious answer is humans killed them off. They were alive up to 10,000 years ago. Then they weren't anymore.

Re: Did a catastrophic freshwater flood kill The Mammoths
Randall Carlson has a GREAT lecture series on YouTube about theories of Catastrophism being a HUGE dynamic in the Earth's AND HUMAN'S development. This concept wrt the Mamoths would fit in with his previous work. The main lecture series is about 65 lectures long that he did to a nonpaying glass of students over 2 to 3 years back in the early mid 00's.

I never thought much about the issue until I accidentally ran across his series of lectures and started watching them ... Carlson puts out a compelling case that they happen with some regularity to the Earth, and on a somewhat predictable schedule.

Joe Rogan did two great interviews with Carlson that give an overview summary of the issue if you are interested, (as well as a new interview last week). Well worth watching as an introduction to the concept, then you should go out and watch his lectures.

Re: Did a catastrophic freshwater flood kill The Mammoths
The most controversial of the frozen mammoths. Chan researched and found the biologist Ivan T. Sanderson's work that in order to freeze this particular mammoth, he had contacted the American Frozen Foods Institute with the question: What does it take to freeze an entire several ton mammoth so that moisture crystallization does not have time to form in the inner lining of its stomach? They took six weeks to finally come back and say, its utterly impossible. There was no known way to remove the body heat from the carcass as big as a mammoth fast enough to freeze it without moisture crystals forming in the meat.

The Institute did tell Sanderson what it takes to do the job, however.
 Quoting: Chan Thomas

This secret will astound you!

Lower the temperature by 140 degree F from normal in about two hours time. He found that it took -80F cold to do this. Temperate climates to flash frozen in about 120 minutes. But, it was also buried in muck. Quick frozen in a layer of muck that buried it alive. One foreleg, some ribs, and its pelvis fractured. Suffocated in muck that flash froze instantly. As if a wall of frozen Earth muck descended and boxed it up fresh in the Earth to stay fresh for over thousands of years until the discovery in 1900.

The muck is found all over Northern Siberia and Alaska.

Little ice age, rising temps during the inter-glacial warming period, and the rise of very stupid people who don't do science much, and the fact that plant food (CO2) is now considered a toxic gas which makes up less than 2% of earth's atmosphere and the fact that the climate is always changing.

You probably pay extra for nitrogen in your tires too, even though it's just normal air that has 70 % nitrogen anyway.

So how many animals went extinct during the mini ice age? I don't think CO2 is a poison. It's about 0.03% of the atmosphere. The greenhouse I worked at as a teenager pumped in CO2, it made the plants a lot healthier. You just Trust the Science and believe anything they tell you.
Plus I had to look up the nitrogen in tires thing. I had no clue that people did that.

Did Randal Carlson just stumble across the answer to the question of the mammoth's dying with food still in their mouths?
at about 1:30min mark he talks about a large Siberian lake as the last ice age started to warm up.

I am sitting here thinking about the fresh water melt lakes that broke free and poured into the Atlantic along the Hudson river shelf.

A catastrophic meltwater flood event and the formation of the Hudson Shelf Valley

The question I am thinking about is could a catastrophic flood have happened in Siberia sweeping up mammoths and other animals on the Bering sea land bridge 12,000 years ago?
 Quoting: Storm2come

Like the end of the ice age perhaps?

Maybe the Grand Canyon was carved the same way. All those dried salt lake beds were and inland sea that broke through. Carved the Grand Canyon and the remains dried up to form the lake beds.

All that ice weight in one area would push up in another area.

Douglas Vogt has done an outstanding job of explaining many of the strange things that have happened on this Earth over the eons such as why civilizations seem to have disappeared around 12,000 years ago, the disappearance of the mammoths, the rising and falling of the sea levels and sea temperature over time, ice ages, etc.

If you want to start to get an understanding of what has been happening repeatedly over time I urge you to watch this video by Douglas Vogt which is linked below.

If you want to see a photo of a mammoth that was instantly frozen in water go to the 36:38 minute mark in the video.

Important things to keep in mind?

*** Solar Nova
*** Every 12,000+ years
*** Ice Ages
*** September to December, 2046 time period <== VERY IMPORTANT!

Everything that Mr. Vogt talks about could very well explain why certain events have been and currently are taking place on the Earth such as the underground facilities being constructed all over the place, the intentional kill-off of humans, the underground storage facility for seeds in, I believe, Greenland that was constructed by none other than Bill Gates (and others), etc.

Marine Fossils on 'top' of the Andes Mountains. More than 500 giant fossilized oysters were found 3000-4000 meters (about 2 miles) above sea level in Peru in 2001 by Arturo Vildozola, palaeontologist with the Andean Society of Paleontology.

Re: Did a catastrophic freshwater flood kill The Mammoths
These freezing blue towers were created when ice was compressed and the trapped air bubbles were squeezed out.
During the summer the surface ice melts and new ice layers compress on top.
It's a natural occurrence that happens over time. They aren't flash frozen. Good try though.

Nice deflection, but find the research articles on them. They are waves

Yeah OK..Waves on an endless ice sheet. Do they just pop up out of holes in the ice?

When the tilt occurs, gigantic walls of water move..

It's almost unimaginable: a tsunami more than 1,000 feet (300 meters) high bearing down on the island of Hawaii. But scientists have new evidence of these monster waves, called mega-tsunamis, doing just that.

Nobody seems to understand the cyclic nature of our planet, and they guess at these dates of old...

Are you saying that a giant wave hit Antartica and caused the blue towers and waves?
The article says it's a Hawaiian Island thing. It also says it's a once in a 100,000 year event due to "CLIMATE CHANGE" and volcanos collapsing.
Trust the science.

The fossils date from a couple of million to 500 million years old.
What the hell does this have to do with the targeted killing off of the entire race of the Woolly Mammoths inhabiting earth thousands of years ago?
