What I have read is that condensation withen the engine or batt comparment can cause it to catch fire. I dont know if its true but it makes sense, especially during weather changes |

If these are the facts used to determine a "DEATH TRAP" then I guess every vehicle on the road is a DEATH TRAP! ahahaahhaha Scary! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83196906 United States 11/19/2022 05:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A new car built by my company leaves somewhere travelling at 88 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A. Multiply it by the probable rate of failure, B. Multiply the result by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A x B x C = equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one. Are there a lot of these kinds of accidents? You wouldn't believe. Which car company do you work for? A major one. :tyler1: :dawn26: |
