Maybe. I don't know why you chose peroxide over A-1 though.

usually it would first dissolve dirt and scabs AFAIK.

Doubt it would mean you have a sinus infection but it would be dirtier I suppose.

Peroxide (3%) reacts with sulfur in your ear. It is very useful if for some reason you have not washed your ears for a long time, peroxide will help in dissolving ear plugs.

It will bubble even without infection. I work construction and use it to remove a lot of toxic dust and debris.
