The Andy Griffith Show domenstrated many of the high quality aspects of America culture such as following the law, telling the truth, etc. Sneaking over the border and driving around without insurance would not be a pervasive problem if everyone lived like they did in that fictional southern community.

In America, you are free to dislike who you want, but you still have to follow the law, immigrate legally, get car insurance, etc... not liking someone does not qualify as being racist.

If 15 million Americans decided to sneak into mexico and drive around clogging up their roads, then I bet there woul dbe more than a simple "dislike" that resulted.

So true girl!!!! Driving the freeways Monday, when no illegals were, was a breeze. No congestion. No we know the cause. It was just like when they didnt work for a day to prove a point and all they did was hurt their own businesses. No traffic again.

If I could garden my own food, I would. With the rising price of food, I don't see where having a wetback in the field is making food cheap so you can just stop with the lame, worn out, "Who will pick your food???" whine.

We can mow our own grass. We don't need to import crooks for that.

It took my wife and I a lot of money, time and patience for her to FINALLY get her legal US Residency. We did it because I believe in our Country, that things must be done the right way... But I must admit, it is far too easy for anyone to work and live in the United States without a single legal document.

Heck in some states getting a driver's license is easier than getting a Library Card! Many are under the impression that just because a mexican uses a fake SSN he can't get a job or won't last long at a particular employ and nothing is farther from the truth.

Between the lack of honest employers, weak immigration laws and no immigration law enforcement, we've been leaving our country open for all the illegals to take footholds for years.
What SICKENS me the most is seeing BILLIONS of dollars sent to these illegals families in Mexico.

They come here, take jobs and send 80% of their paycheck to someone building them a huge home in Mexico while here they live in rat-holes, 20 mexicans per apartment.

My wife and I are common folks, we did all the paperwork ourselves for her, no lawyer no intermediary and two years later she can finally continue her career in the States. If we did it, ANYONE can do it. Any mexican that doesn't get in the path to being legal is because their plan is to return to mexico as soon as they've drained enough dollars from our country. In the meantime they pollute us with horrid music, poorly spoken Spanish and a general disinterest to obey the laws of the United States.

I AM SICK OF THEM ALL quite frankly.

I remember when teenagers used to mow lawns and wash cars for extra money...

I'd rather cover my lawn with asphalt and contribute to global warming than give a single illegal a penny.

No wait... there are about 30 bright, resourceful and hard-working kids in our neighborhood, I'll call them to do it.

With all the pressure to get into top-notch universities, at least around here, we don't have time to move your lawns and wash your cars anymore!

Absolutely right.

One of the primary reasons that wages for the low-end workers have sunk so low is due to illegals taking whatever they can get... Heck a dollar for them in Mexico is worth a lot more than it is to us.

Corporations setting up sweat-shops here and just across the border aren't helping the national cause either.
