If you feel like prepping, do it. I think its great, it can be a lifeboat for whoever is left behind. If you dont feel like prepping, dont, I am still certain God will provide if you are a christian. If you are disabled, unemployed etc and cant aford to prep, God will make sure you have what you need anyway.

i can see that people new to the faith, or that havent looked into the promises of the bible "freed themselves" from anxiety for the future etc thinks like this.

id just try to reason with them in a friendly way, i used to be a prepper myself but thats before i became a christian and it took some time to let that mindset go.

also being a moderate level prepper is also known as common sense, especially if you have children. but i think you'll regret moving out to the boonies, buying a bunker and spending a couple of years income on guns and ammo. Again, if thats what you want, go ahead, but i think you'll be a happier person if you spend your earnings on a family vacation.
