Back around 1970 my buddy bought a system with huge Tannoy speakers. To demo it he payed "Frankenstein" and I thought the world was ending.

I snagged a pair of Fisher speakers many years ago, 15" woofers. They're nice.

This one will test your woofers.

Awesome, back home, throughout all the smallish communities (land locked essentially) they used to have 'too big for the dump days'. All sorts of stuff that people didn't want that was useful and in many cases rare. Got a high end gramaphone and ended up buying a bunch of 78's

They are rated for 50 watts, 100 peak.

I had Cerwin Vega HED speakers in the 80's that would rattle plaster off the walls.

i took out a pair old Polk speakers, made in USA. Anyway, i bought this amazing little amp on amazon, it is powered by vintage vacuum tubes! Its frickin amazing, HIGHLY recomended. its new technology mixed with old Bluetooth with vacuum tubes!!!!

Basements of the river city got flooded and the Nat. Guard hauled everything to the fairgrounds. We arrived every morning to the steaming pile in dump trucks to haul it to the landfill.

Violins, banjos, Victrolas, you name it. I hauled a load of new auto parts from the Autozone, dumped in the landfill. I snagged two banjos from the steaming pile at dawn.

Klipsch... winner.

Pre-Amp does not add "power" - it's for processing. Pre = before amplification lol. left / right balance, base / treble, signal processor loops, EQ, etc

turntable ==> preamp === Amp === Speakers

My B&W dm-3000 tower speakers smoke all u dumb fools in hifi.
